Spooky Tales For Halloween

Who doesn't enjoy a spooky story around this time of year? Whether it be vampires and shape shifters or mysterious goings on in the dark of the night, Halloween is the perfect backdrop for a scary tale. Throw in a touch of Erotica and you are sure to be entertained!

I have written four spooky stories that have all been placed in different anthologies. Over the next two days I would like to share them with you.... The first Halloween story I wrote was for Naughty Nights Press. A short story called 'Cassandra' that I was delighted to have included in this fabulous anthology 'A Wicked and Wanton all Hallows Eve':

Excerpt:
The taxi pulled up outside Simon’s house. It was surreal, we joined the throng of sexy witches and horny devils who all seemed to arrive at precisely the same time as us. Everywhere you looked there was a sea of black, green and red. There were other pussycats inside, but they were witches cats, all in black with elaborate whiskers and fluffy long tails. I made my way to the kitchen and helped myself to a glass of wine, leaving Scott talking to a very uncomfortable looking Frankenstein in the hallway. I went through into the lounge where many people were dancing. I hardly knew anyone. These were Scott’s friends. I recognized one or two behind their disguises but l could tell no-one had a clue who l was.
I started to dance, easing my way in to join the monsters already strutting their stuff to the strains of Gaga. I was lost in the music, wiggling and shaking. Three songs later l was still there, circling my hips and shaking my blonde mane. I felt a smooth stroke across my butt and turned, expecting to see Scott. It was another pussycat.
“Meow.” She said.
“Meow to you too.” I grinned.
“That’s a very unusual costume,” she continued, “A red and black pussycat?”
“Pussies come in all colours.” I breezed, the pulsating beat vibrating through my body. We faced each other and gyrated in time to the music almost, in unison. I breathed her in, a powerful scent l didn't recognize. Her eyes bore through me, a piercing green. Her cat suit was a smooth black leotard worn with fishnets, her tail held upwards by wire. Whiskers had been drawn onto her cute face. Her jet black hair cascaded over her shoulders and flew outwards as she danced. She was shorter than me, pert round breasts straining against the soft velour of her costume. When she spun around, arms thrown outwards in the heat of the dance, l got a better view of that cute, round ass.

Next came a spooky story with a castle as its backdrop. Written as a Yellow Silk Dreams anthology 'Scarlet' was part of 'Behind Stone Walls':

A juggler arrived on the stage. He was a strange little man with very sharp features, wearing a court jester’s hat. He began dropping his clubs deliberately and everyone was laughing at him. Katy reached out her hand to the man on her left brushing briefly against his arm without averting her eyes from the scene. The laughter grew and echoed around the stone walls, Katy could hear her own laughter almost as a separate entity coming from somewhere above her head. The jester came closer and seemed to focus intently on Katy’s face. He seemed familiar to her somehow, like a distant relative. She tried to remember where she had seen him before and concentrated on his face. The room began to go numb around her as she saw herself reflected in the jesters twinkling eyes. Once again Katy imagined herself walking through the spring trees with the man she loved holding onto her arm.

They stopped to view a small gathering of birds pecking hungrily at the ground. The birdsong filled the air all around them high up in the trees and all across the grand lawn. Suddenly her suitor turned her towards him and kissed her softly on her waiting lips. She gasped as she felt his tenderness turn to urgency as she began to slowly respond. She parted her lips to allow his tongue to enter gently between them feeling it nestle against her own, softly stroking along the sides. The powerful sense of passion began surging through her veins and she trembled…

Back in the Castle and still watching the juggler Katy shivered, she hugged her chest and waited once again for her mind to settle. The juggling jester was staring directly at her, his hat of bells dancing. It was as if he could read her mind, as if he knew… Almost angrily Katy stood and left the room.
In the rest room Katy splashed her face with cold water trying to calm her nerves. What was wrong with her? It had to be the wine, she shouldn't drink so much, it was something her friends had always been concerned about and this was precisely why. Katy took a deep breath and turned around to check her reflection in the full length mirror before heading for the door. Wow, she loved this dress! How could it make her waist so tiny and her breasts so voluptuous? She knew she looked stunning. Peering closer she thought there was definitely something different about her face. Stepping backwards she covered her mouth with her hands.
It was her eyes! They were different somehow. Leaning closer to the mirror she studied them hard. There was no doubt about it her reflected eyes were brown, but how could that be? Katy’s eyes were blue weren’t they? It must be the light she told herself. Don’t be so ridiculous, nobody’s eyes changed colour, maybe they had always been brown?
Her head began to swim and her heart pounded loudly in her chest. Just at that moment Ellie entered the bathroom.

“God, you feel so amazing in my arms. I wish you could come with me.”
Eyes closed, she nodded. “I can’t. I’m sorry.” Opening her eyes, she gazed at him. “Once the editing is finished, I need to get away from all this. I can’t deal with it any longer. And you know my dad’s having hip surgery. I need to help my mom.”
Shifting his stance, he slid his hands over the globes of her ass, urging her closer. “I know, babe. It’s okay. I won’t be gone long.”
She dug her fingers into the hair at the nape of his neck. “Nine months seems likes forever. You won’t forget me will you?”
A moan erupted from his throat as he dipped his head and latched his mouth onto hers. She savored him in her arms, revelling in his tongue dancing with hers. Passion, yearning, hunger, it was all there in his kiss.
Flexing his hips, Josh shifted his shaft to fit in the V between her legs. She gasped, her head falling back. Josh kissed his way down her neck, nibbling, biting, and driving the temperature a million times higher. She wanted to succumb to him now, to finally make love to him, but they couldn’t risk being caught.
He hauled her tighter, holding her so close she could barely breathe. But Sunday didn’t care. All she would ever need was this man in her arms. Feeling him against her, his body fevered against hers—nothing else mattered.
Josh lifted his head, his forest green eyes bore into hers. She could drown in his loving and hungry gaze. He knew her better than anyone else. While filming, they’d enjoyed so many secreted-away moments, revealing hopes and dreams and shared childhood stories imparting laughter. He was everything she’d ever need. And she couldn’t wait to tell the world.
But they couldn’t. Not yet.
“I know my leaving, since filming of my next movie is starting sooner, throws a kink in what we’d planned, but I promise, babe, I’ll be back as fast as I can. I’d rather be with you, starting our journey toward what I think will be a great future together. If I had any other choice—”
Understanding about commitments and responsibility, she covered his lips with her hand. “I know. It’s okay. We have time. We do. I’ll be waiting for you.”
He sighed. “I love you more than anything else.” He caressed her face. “I’ve waited so long for you already, it’ll be hell, but I know it will be worth it. Especially when we’re far away from prying eyes.”
She smiled, her heart booming with happiness. “And I love you.”
His cell phone vibrated. He yanked it from his pocket and groaned. “Damn, I have to go. They’re looking for me. Our flight leaves in forty-five.” His lips captured hers.
She poured all the love, hope, and belief of their relationship into the kiss. He had to come back. She couldn’t live without him now.
“I miss you already,” Josh whispered when he stepped back. His gaze travelled over her face as if memorizing every facet. Then he leaned down for his duffel bag. Straightening, he said, “I love you, Sunni.”
Tears in her eyes, she watched him walk toward the door. “I love you.”
He stared at her from across the room. Sunday wanted to rush over, wrap her arms around him and beg him not to go. But she couldn’t do that. She loved how dedicated and honest he was. There was no way she’d ever ask him to break his word.
With a last long, deep breath, he turned the door handle then exited the trailer. Feeling alone already, she sat in the vanity chair and gazed into the mirror. The love of her life had just walked out the door for war-torn Afghanistan. She worried for his safety but knew his people and the movie company would keep him safe while filming. All she could do was hold the love she had for him in her heart, and wait.

Weekend Writing Warriors #40

Hello and welcome to this week's eight sentences. I am continuing with 'Patrick's Pendant' from the Yellow Silk Dream anthology 'Enchanted'. This week I have jumped ahead a few paragraphs and the girls have decided to walk to the main road from the park:

My Eight:

It was only a short walk, maybe 300 metres, but the trees grew denser and the leaves crackled beneath their heels. The wind seemed to have died down and everywhere was still, through the silence they could hear the low hoot of an owl.
The path that led away from the clearing and toward the road was barely visible in the dark, it was shaded by trees and covered with fallen leaves. The owl hooted again, closer this time. Katie, lost in her own thoughts paid no attention to their surroundings, but Miranda was becoming increasingly concerned.
“I can’t even see the road up ahead anymore!” she said.
“Don’t worry,” replied Katie, “It can’t be far now.”
They heard it together and stopped in their tracks.

Saturday's AfterDark Moments

Hello and welcome to this week's AfterDark Moments.

This week I am sharing an excerpt from one of the earliest books I wrote called
'Don't Move', enjoy:

...He gently stroked my tummy, tender for a brief moment. I felt his smooth hands calming me. The hands l loved so much. David always knew exactly how to touch my skin and draw the response he needed from me.
“Shh.” he whispered, softly kissing my neck.
I felt another cube of ice, this time pressed against my pussy lips, I gasped as he held it there melting rapidly against the heat of my throbbing clit. The water streamed down between my legs to mingle with my expectant juices. Almost as soon as it had melted he took another cube and placed it inside me; I gasped as the coldness froze my inner passage and whimpered as his tongue began to lap up the ensuing mixture, flicking its rough surface against my clit as it did so. He teased me for a few more moments until the last of the ice had yielded to my body heat, using long leisurely tongue strokes from under me all the way to my navel. His tongue circled and lapped at the moisture, relaxing me and making me tense both at the same time. I wanted to grind against him but l also didn’t want to break the spell, my body was frozen in pleasure, responding without moving as his tongue continued to tease me with soothing, exquisite strokes. My mind focused on the pleasure he was giving me and l relaxed into it, listening to my heart beat and feeling my orgasm building, building…
David slowed his pleasure and then raised his head. Without speaking he untied me and sat me up, I went to hold him.
“No,” he pushed my arms gently away, “I told you, don’t move.”
Everything was silent again apart from my labored breathing and the gentle buzzing of the nipple clamps. It felt surreal, l was lost in pleasure, dazed and aching for release. He buried his hands deep into my hair, taking fistfuls and gently tugging. I felt my scalp tingle as the many nerve ends there responded to his caress. The pleasure that came from his touch was almost overwhelming. I groaned as he held my hair in a one handed pony tail stroking his fingers around my mildly vibrating breast with the other. I felt his cock teasing around my mouth and pushed out my tongue eager to taste the liquid at its tip. He slid himself along its rough surface slowly back and forth lifting the roof of my mouth with two fingers to stop me clamping down to suck him. He still held my hair firmly in his other hand and gradually he started to thrust himself deeper into my mouth. I gagged as he hit the back of my throat and he removed his fingers to allow deeper penetration...

Weekend Writing Warriors #39

Hi and welcome to this week's eight sentences! This week I am continuing with my spookily erotic story 'Patrick's Pendant' from Yellow Silk Dreams anthology 'Enchanted'. I have carried straight on from last week.

My Eight:

Suddenly her lacy skater dress and bare legs seemed impractical.
Would he even notice that she’d left?
How would she get home?
She was angry now, too angry to cry any more, cold and angry and just a tiny bit inebriated.
“Katie?” it was Miranda’s voice, “Are you out here?”

Katie stared blankly towards the little path. She could see the vague silhouette of her best friend emerging slowly into the clearing hugging her arms around herself in a vain attempt to keep warm.
**********

Aw, I couldn't leave her out there alone with those empty, swaying swings!

Flash Fiction Friday#80

Hello Everyone and welcome to this week's Flash Fiction Friday! 100 words, a group of authors and only one picture to describe however we please!
Here's mine, enjoy:

MISS PRIM

Sally loved the Saturday's when she was the only one in the office. Bizarre as it seemed she could work for an hour or so then really let herself go. It was the only place that Sally could get any peace to strip off, lounge around, read her erotic books and imagine...
So what if she got a little carried away? She was young, she was hot and she loved to hide away with her indulgent secrets.
Ah yes, who would have thought the prim secretary with the horn rimmed glasses and sensible shoes could be so carefree?

The Retreat by Kay Jaybee

I am delighted to welcome to my blog today, the very wonderful Kay Jaybee!

Hi Gemma! I’m delighted to be here today on the fourth leg of my blog tour to celebrate the release of my latest BDSM novel, The Retreat, the second part of The Perfect Submissive Trilogy.

Blurb-
Just as Jess is beginning to relax into her new life as a submissive at The Fables Hotel, her employer Mrs Peters announces that she is loaning both Jess, and her dominatrix Miss Sarah, to one of their most demanding clients; Mr David Proctor.
Whisked away by the mysterious Kane to The Retreat, hidden in a remote part of Scotland, Jess and Miss Sarah find themselves teaching another submissive to meet Proctor’s exacting rules.
As Jess comes to terms with the techniques of The Retreat Mistress, and the strictly overpowering dominatrix Lady Tia, she discovers that Proctor’s motives may not be all they seem.
Just who or what is Fairtasia? And why does Jess feel like she’s walked into a warped fairy tale?
In order to get back to The Fables, Jess is going to have to be more than just a perfect submissive...

On first starting work at the Fables Hotel, not only did Miss Jess Sanders have to battle with her shock at being employed as a submissive (rather than the booking clerk she’d expected to be), but with her feelings of confusion as to why she didn’t want to run away from this strange establishment that catered for some very specific adult requirements. This conflict within her own desires and emotions wasn’t helped by her fear of the dominatrix Miss Sarah- the woman who first trained Jess to fulfil her new role to the maximum of her potential.

When Jess is sent to work as a temporary member of staff at The Retreat, she quickly realises that the quiet and dignified style of sexual control of Miss Sarah that she’d got used to, is very different from the methods she’ll have to deal with at the hands of the resident dominatrix, Lady Tia...

Extract
Preening at her reflection in the mirror, Lady Tia tugged the body-hugging black dress into place around her abundant figure, so that the plunging neckline showed off her copious bosom.
Picking invisible flecks of lint from the clinging fabric, The Retreat’s resident dominatrix swished her hips from side to side, critically assessing the hang of her thick, black hair. Then, drawing on a pair of elbow-length, black silk fingerless gloves, Lady Tia examined the gleaming gloss of her black nail varnish, and double-checked the layer of bright red lipstick that coated her pouting brown lips.
Finally satisfied with her appearance, she turned with all the purpose of a medieval galleon about to do battle.
She did not like the news her superior had imparted to her that morning. Not one bit.

Dr Elena Ewen smiled quietly at the screen of her laptop. It had taken a lot of work to make this happen. She hadn’t been able to believe how easy it had been to find David Proctor after all these years. Although she’d been the one who’d set in motion a course of action that had let David believe he’d found her, and that he was the one who’d come up with the idea that such an establishment would help secure some new top-flight contracts. Now all she had to do was keep him in check, and get on with running The Retreat.
As a child, Elena Ewen had always been the best at everything. Always the cleverest, the prettiest, the most popular, and, most important of all, the one the boys wanted to get to know as well as possible, and the girls had been more than a little curious about. Even during her teenage years, Elena had been smart enough to know that what she actually did, and what people thought she did, could be two different things. She hadn’t wanted a reputation for the wrong things – even if that reputation was sometimes well deserved,
It had been at university that the course of the rest of her life had been determined. That was when she’d met a woman who would tilt her already jarred perspective of life over the edge of generally accepted normality into a world where control equalled power, and power equalled control. It was only a short step from there to see that the ultimate tool in the quest for power and control was sex.
The knock at the door was brief, only functioning as an attempt at politeness, before Lady Tia wafted into Elena’s study in a haze of musky perfume. As she clicked on her screensaver, the Scotswoman peered at her assistant over the rim of her glasses. ‘Good evening, Lady Tia. Thank you for coming so promptly.’
‘I am not happy about this situation.’
Dr Ewen’s smile stayed in place, but not so much as a hint of it hit her slate grey eyes as she gave a brittle response. ‘To the point, as ever.’
‘I see no reason to be any other way, especially as I suspect this will have a greater impact on our work here than you imagine.’
Totally un-intimidated by the immaculate presence towering over her desk, Elena replied with complete assurance, ‘I expect there to be an impact on our work here. I expect it to improve. To lift us from the small, albeit successful business we have established here serving select holiday makers to a thriving concern with a constant flow of business trade. Customers Mr Proctor has deemed “special guests”. Ladies and gentleman of some means who, for reasons he may or may not choose to share with us, he has decided to reward with our services rather than financially. This is an opportunity for a new clientele I propose to exploit fully.
‘We are to be a treat. A memorable experience that will ensure his clients wish to work with him again. Never –’ Dr Ewen paused for emphasis ‘– has our work here been so important. Mr Proctor’s influence in the world of business in general, and in PR specifically, is considerable. This alliance can only do us good. We will, as I have explained to you twice before, benefit from these changes. Your position here is not under threat. Nor will it be. That is not why David is having the women bought here.’
Bristling at the implication that she might feel threatened in some way by the two bits of girls being shipped in from the south, Lady Tia curbed the barbed remark that was forming on her tongue. Elena Ewen may have been half her size, but she was the mistress here at The Retreat, and only a fool would forget that her petite, aristocratic frame was capable of keeping even the strongest dom in his or her place.
Adopting a more civil tone than the one she felt like using, Lady Tia said, ‘I can assure you that I do not feel threatened. However I do resent the fact that this man has, in only a space of six weeks, purchased this place from under us, dismissed our female submissive, and –’ Lady Tia spat out her final words, her displeasure getting the better of her common sense ‘– thinks we require training, when he knows full well you and I have far more years of experience than Laura Peters could ever dream of.’
Rather than reacting with a return of the venom being aimed at her, Elena stood and moved to the plush sofa that ran along the side of her office. Picking up her laptop, she gestured for her companion to approach her as she sat and lifted the screen. ‘I trust you are not wearing underwear?’
Recognising the question for what it was, an instruction and not a query, Lady Tia inched up the skirt of her dress, revealing her muscular chocolate legs, and a shaved pussy that seemed to have the ability to pout as broadly as its owner’s mouth.
Inclining her head a fraction in approval, Elena patted the cushion on the sofa next to her. ‘I would like you to keep your skirt high and sit here.’
As she obeyed, Lady Tia’s eyes were still set in disapproval, but the more defined rise and fall of her breasts was clearly detectable to her manageress’s expert eye.
Dr Ewen pointed toward the laptop’s screen. ‘You see this woman?’
Lady Tia studied the scene as the computer was balanced on her boss’s lap. A young, shapely woman was fastened to a white rope hammock, and her ample tits were squeezed through the gaps in the weave. The slight pot of her tummy was squashed against the rope, and her reddened face was a vision of climax-preventing concentration.
‘Let me introduce you to Miss Jess Sanders...

****
Learning to adjust to the rules at The Retreat, it isn’t just Jess who finds herself at Lady Tia’s mercy- for this imposing woman very much resents another dominatrix being sent to train up her staff.  Miss Sarah also finds herself under orders from this powerful woman- and yet Lady Tia in turn has to bend to the will of her own boss, Dr Ewen...who seems to have an agenda all of her very own...

Taking Flight by Tabitha Rayne

Taking Flight by Tabitha Rayne

Thank you so much for having me at your place!

I’m here to highlight my new erotic novel, Taking Flight – it’s book 2 in The Meeting Point trilogy – but don’t worry if you haven’t read book one yet (A Clockwork Butterfly) because it doesn’t matter which order you read the first two.

Hope this whets your appetite for a raunchy dystopian adventure ;)

Snippet – Marcus and Deborah have just finished making love
Marcus flopped on top of her and she struggled to breathe with the weight of him on her chest. He shifted his body a little to allow her to take in air but held her fast with her fingers still jammed to her sex and him still inside her.
‘I want you to remember this moment. Remember this time of us being utterly as one.’ That look had returned, and panic rose in Deborah’s chest.
‘Silly talk …,’ she said dismissively and feigned a giggle, but his intense stare never wavered and she had to look away.
He was right. They’d got away with it for too long. He was sure to be found soon and taken to the farms. She thought of the day they’d made the decision to hide him here, in their home. He’d quit his job, saying he was going back to look after his parents south of the border. That was before the pleasure farms were common knowledge; where men were taken and used as playthings for the increasingly powerful Archmatria government. Deborah had heard rumours of their existence and they’d acted on them immediately, playing out an acrimonious split for the benefit of neighbours and colleagues, but he’d never left. He’d simply stayed indoors and hid.
‘Why don’t we start an uprising?’ Marcus had said, only half joking, before he’d gone into hiding. But they’d both known it would have been a futile waste of their remaining time together.
They’d decided the only way was to keep working on a cure. Or at least discovering a reason for the sudden proliferation of the toxins.
Deborah prised her way out from underneath Marcus and rolled onto her side. Their mingled fluids trickled from her onto the sheets and she reached down between her legs and gently cupped her hands over her sex, trying to keep it all inside. If she could keep it all in, maybe he would be able to stay for ever. The excitement from the discovery at the lab ebbed away, leaving a soft melancholy in its wake.
***
Harsh banging at the front door woke Deborah and Marcus into full alert. Panicking, Deborah frantically clutched at the detritus on her bedside table, searching for a clock.
‘Don’t bother.’ Marcus reached over and laid a calming hand on hers. ‘It’s still dark. They’ve come for me...’

Blurb
“Find me at the meeting point. We are more than the physical.”

Four generations from now, toxins are ravaging the land and the future of mankind is in peril. The surviving men are being rounded up and taken to holding facilities. Research scientist, Dr Deborah Regan is hoping to stabilise the decreasing male population before her lover, Marcus becomes one of those taken away.

When the authorities come looking for Marcus, Deborah abandons her research to go on the run with her lover. They flee to the forests where they stumble across a couple who are intent on finding an ultimate sexual union where at the point of climax their spirits break free from their bodies and unite. Plunged into a life of lust and survival, Deborah soon realises she can easily slip into this trancelike state and she and Marcus set out to create a transcendent bond of their own. Can they achieve the ultimate unity before fate separates them for good?

An erotic dystopian fantasy following a young couple trying to elude capture and separation.
The prequel to A Clockwork Butterfly.

In a dying world – is love the only means of true survival?

Weekend Writing Warriors #38

Hi everyone, welcome to another 8 sentences. This week as the dark nights are approaching, I thought  I would share a spooky story from 'Enchanted' a Yellow Silk Dreams anthology. My story is called 'Patrick's Pendant' and my 8 are the opening lines:

                                          My Eight:

Katie ran from the noise of the party across the empty road and towards a spinney behind a set of garages. She blinked away the many tears that threatened to thwart her view of the little path that led to three old swings and a rusty seesaw.
Nervously she glanced around in the darkness, she had been sure that someone would have been concerned enough to follow her.
Slumping down on the damp plastic seat on one of the swings she rocked back and forth, keeping both feet on the ground.
Her friends had been right, it was such a cliché but even her mother had told her so.
As her breathing calmed Katie pulled her cardigan closer around her. The swings on either side were swaying in the cool night breeze and the trees were rustling.
It was late, very late, possibly 2am and the temperature had dropped considerably.
